LOTinConcert: Li Velvet / Bordun

LI VELVET

Lisa Wiesinger aka “Li” released her debut album “eleven” on the 11th of november 2022. Looking for musicians to present her songs on stage, she found drummer Helmut Chang, and it was a perfect match on a personal and musical level. After the first acoustic concerts, they immediately started working together to expand the live presentation with all the synths and loops which are a key feature of Li’s Sound. Bass player Byron Cortes joined in 2023, and completed the new band with his personality and deep understanding of this kind of music. The “Li Velvet” carpet is rolled out on stage to find yourself in the middle of a mysterious world with melancholic, dark sounds, in which lightness and hope can also be felt mixed with lyrics from Li's personal experiences and stories from her life.

BORDUN

BORDUN is a three-piece rock band from Vienna. Their sound oscillates between dark, melancholic loud sounds and danceable psychedelic folk and dark wave elements.

The band formed in 2021 and recorded their first EP “Menschenfresser” the following year. After a few single releases 2024 their first studio album will be released next year!

Bordun, that´s Çetin Demirtaş (guitar, saz, lavta), Linda Fress (vocals, synth, bass) and Egemen Demirtaş (drums).
